OSL2026 Line Up Sunglass Picks

We styled what we think this years Outside Lands artists would wear. Sunglasses are not only a must have accessory but with Karl the fog always making an appearance, it’s important to protect your eyes from UVA/UVB. All these sunglasses are available now at Wink Optics!

Bandalos Chinos are an Argentinian indie-pop band with a fun synth vibe! The reason Jenny chose the Orgreen 3D Full Stop for them to wear is because the the frames have a modern take to a classic metal eyeglass shape. By adding the 3D printed ring, the frame is no longer just a titanium frame but has a pop of color and also a conversation starter. How cool is it to have a multi dimensional sunglass with a combination of 100% titanium, beta-titanium and a splash of 3D printed material. These frames also exude hipster and you can’t tell me that a sunglass brand that doesn’t have its branding stamped everywhere wouldn’t be gatekept by an indie hipster band. Those that listen to Bandalos Chinos also will say they listened to them first before they get even bigger.

  •  Jenny styled Ethel Cain in the Lindberg 85100. Her discography is like no other. From her radio friendly single, Crush, to Southern Gothic vocals that haunt you in the best way, and even a drone experimental album, Cain's music is beyond versatile. Similarly, the Lindberg 85100 sunglass can be customized how you like, different colors frame front, temple and even the length. At first glance this frame appears fragile but with it's titanium temples you can go to OSL and not worry on their durability.

3. Up next are Turnstile, Geese and Lindberg. Why Lindberg again? It's due to their durability. As someone who has been in a number of mosh pits, the only pair of glasses I know will survive are the Lindberg Air Rim. You do not have to worry about a screw coming out, only worry about the the circle pit you are shoved into with these two bands. There is no time to fumble with your sunglasses when you're belt out "THERE'S A B@#$ IN MY CAR" and the pent up energy you safely release at either of these two bands sets. These shapes I specifically picked as well because the 90's are back. Just make sure you don't trip in the moshpit because your JNCO jeans are slipping.

4. Maury picked out the Maxime in colors Harlem and Manhattan for the Australian electric duo, Empire of the Sun. Australians know all about the sun as they are geographically closer to the equator. Functionality is very important in sun wear but that does not mean you have to lose your creative spark! Both of these colors are classic elements you see in the world-- platinum and gold. What makes them spectacular is the detail and how vibrant they are. The gradient tints, which protect you from UVA/UVB also have a rock and roll feel to it.

5.Maury has a soft spot for JMM. Here he picked out the Jacques Marie Mage Sartet in Noir for Grammy award winning rapper, Baby Keem. When you are a celebrity, you want to protect your eyes from the camera flashes and that's what Maury was thinking for Mr. Baby Keem. A sleek frame, no extra frills just straight to the point--just like Baby Keems flow.

When you see a festival line up from afar, what usually stands out are the larger fonted bands. That is until you look a little deeper and see that ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U is on the line up with a distinctive approach on his moniker. This is why Maury selected Cutler and Gross, The Great Frog Ganton Navigator in Silver for ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U. Raised on classic rock, Yukimatsu and being in the underground music scene makes him the best suited to wear the Great Frog Navigator. The Great Frog are a London based jewelry store that cater to big names in rock like James Hetfield, Iggy Pop, Debbie Harry and more. They partnered with Cutler and Gross to have their iconic jewerly styles on sunglasses.
